This section lets you know the latest Victim Support Southwark news as soon as it happens!
From June 2006 Victim Support Southwark has two new and exciting projects to help vulnerable people and victims of crime.
Firstly, the Supporting People Project aims to support victims of hate crimes due to sexuality, faith, race or disability (or perceived disability), where the harassment occurs in or around the person’s home. As well as providing practical and emotional support, this project will focus on the victim’s housing needs, helping them to remain (where it is safe to do so) within their own homes.
Secondly, the Facelift Project is an innovative project to help prevent vulnerable people from becoming victims of crime in the first place. Find out more about this project.

On Monday 18 April 2005 the London Eye was host to Victim Support Southwark (along with other London Victim Support Schemes) to launch the Sunrise Appeal. The aim of this appeal is to raise awareness and funds to continue supporting victims of crime.
The event was supported by Harriet Harman (pictured with Victim Support Southwark team), MP for Camberwell and Peckham and Solicitor General.
